Chief Financial Officer

Overview

A growing healthcare operating platform is seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic partner to the executive team. This role is responsible for driving enterprise value through disciplined cash flow management, capital strategy, technology-enabled efficiency, and scalable financial infrastructure.

The organization operates 20+ healthcare facilities, employs approximately 2,000 team members, and generates ~$150M in annual revenue, with meaningful near-term growth.

The CFO will be accountable for:

• Optimizing capital structure and cost of capital
• Eliminating administrative and operational inefficiency
• Leveraging technology and AI to scale a complex healthcare business

This is a builder role for a leader with an owner mindset who thrives in growth, ambiguity, and complexity.

• Drive enterprise-wide cash flow and margin improvement
• Evaluate pricing, labor, vendor contracts, and capital allocation

• Structure and manage debt and equity across a multi-entity platform
• Lead investor and lender relationships
• Support acquisitions, refinancing, and development initiatives

• Oversee revenue cycle optimization, payer strategy, and risk cost management
• Evaluate growth opportunities, including ancillary healthcare services and value-based care models

• Lead initiatives to eliminate 8,000–12,000 hours of administrative work annually
• Audit workflows and deploy automation and AI across finance and back-office operations

• Lead with a servant leadership mindset
• Develop and coach leaders across the organization
• Serve as a visible culture and values leader

• Senior finance leader with healthcare experience
• Proven track record in driving cash flow and enterprise value
• Strong accounting foundation with operational finance expertise
• Experience raising capital and managing complex capital structures
• Entrepreneurial, technology-forward, and high emotional intelligence
