Hotel Covington is looking for House Attendants to provide excellent guest service in Housekeeping.

• Retrieve linens, trash, etc. from guestrooms. # of rooms range from 30-40.
• Stock guestrooms with clean linens and terry for the room attendants
• Work with on-site Laundry Facility to remove and return soiled / clean linens.
• Removes room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landings
• Uses chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel services environment

• Maintain a good working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate
• Partake in a positive work ethic and surrounding environment

• Able to work alone without direct supervision
• Demonstrate high degree of drive and determination
• Constantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operation
• Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times
• Attend all required meetings
• Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
• Properly handle and report associate and guest accidents
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental polices/service procedures/standards
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel

• Continuous standing 100% of the shift
• Inside 90% of the shift
• Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 100 lbs. or more. Carts may be pulled up to 75 feet.
• Bending/kneeling required 70% of shift
• Mobile position required 100% of the time
