As a mid or senior data analyst in the Strategy Control organization, you’ll support the Strategy Group’s mission to shape the future of our business for generations to come. In this role, you’ll spearhead financial and operational analytics from the ground up, while developing robust analytical and reporting capabilities to support innovative products developed by Level
20, Progressive’s business incubator. You’ll create and coordinate the financial and operational reporting strategy, crafting reports that enable analysis and reconciliation of financial data against budget and forecasts. Additionally, you’ll serve as a thought partner, providing insights that challenge and refine financial projections and help define our vision of financial and operational success.
Location: All candidates must work a minimum of one day per week at our Downtown Cleveland office (800 W St Clair Ave, Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44113 - parking included) and/or the Progressive Corporate Headquarters (300 N. Commons Blvd., Mayfield Village, OH 44143).
Must-have Qualifications- A minimum of four years of analytical work experience
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience
- This position requires online pre‑employment testing for external candidates.
- Experience working on projects involving the Python language.
- Proven proficiency in programming skills (i.e., SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI).
- Experience in financial analytics.
- Experience working with Snowflake and/or Streamlit.
