We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support ongoing nuclear field projects. This individual will work closely with the assigned Project Manager (PM) to assist in the coordination, tracking, and execution of critical field activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in or around nuclear facilities
, a strong understanding of project workflows, and a proactive mindset in helping drive tasks to completion.
This is a field-oriented position where the coordinator is expected to spend a significant portion of their time on-site
, directly supporting field execution, tracking progress, and helping resolve day-to-day action items.
- Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating field-based project tasks.
- Track progress on field work, ensuring tasks are completed per scope, budget, and schedule.
- Maintain detailed logs of work status, open action items, and interface issues.
- Support daily and weekly coordination meetings; document discussions, actions, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, operations, and safety teams to help move work forward.
- Monitor and escalate field issues, delays, or material/labor constraints to the PM for resolution.
- Aid in planning and sequencing project tasks
- Ensure alignment between the field team and project management goals.
- Help manage documentation and control systems relevant to field execution.
- 3+ years of experience supporting projects in the nuclear or utility industry
, preferably with field exposure. - Strong understanding of field workflows, task tracking, and coordination.
- Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and work environments.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tools such as Maximo, Primavera P6, or other project tracking software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining alignment with project leadership.
- Primarily field-based with some office coordination.
- Must be able to navigate active job sites, follow safety protocols, and engage with craft, supervisors, and vendors.
- Flexible schedule may be required based on project needs and field conditions.
