HVAC Service Technician

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and provide effective solutions.
• Install new HVAC systems and components as per manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect and test HVAC system components for efficiency and safety.
• Provide clear and detailed reports on service performed and any additional recommendations.
• Respond to emergency service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining technical issues to clients in an understandable manner.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Stay updated with the latest HVAC technology and service techniques.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices, as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid HVAC technician certification (EPA Certification)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

25-30 per hour plus commissions
