- The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general facility and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting conveyor systems, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting conveyor systems.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Electrical, control, and mechanical skills.
- Flexibility to work mandatory weekend overtime.
- 3.5 5 years of relevant real-world maintenance experience.
- Ability to answer pre-screening questions related to conveyor experience, conveyor types, and voltage troubleshooting.
- 2 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience maintaining automated conveyor systems.
- Experience conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Execute minor and major repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, controls, HVAC, and mechanical.
- Complete preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Install and set up new equipment and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Maintain MHE batteries as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues using sound judgment.
- Be available for weekend, off-shift, and call-in work.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple maintenance tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of automated conveyor systems maintenance.
- Ability to identify defective materials and report concerns.
- Preventive maintenance execution.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of work order systems (SAP preferred).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic electrical knowledge of 12V/24V AC/DC.
- Basic electrical knowledge of 120V/208V.
- Basic electrical knowledge of 277V/480V.
