Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

Location:

Becton Dickinson - 8195 Industrial Boulevard, Covington, GA 30014. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full time;
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details provided upon interview.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the appropriate temperature, attractive and tasty; tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures, and ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies; reports needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Performs duties safely, maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following HACCP standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Requirements:
  Prior short-order cooking, deli sandwich, and recipe cooking experience is preferred.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Abides by all company policies and procedures, including safety and food handling standards.
