Operator Associate I – Covington, Georgia

Hiring Immediately

• $21.62–$22.72 per hour

• 2nd shift – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
• 2‑2‑3 schedule

• Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standard levels of operation, including waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine‑related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Complete appropriate end‑of‑shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
• Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects
• Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and effective communication skills – written and verbal are required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing or industrial experience working with production equipment and proven mechanical ability
• Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standard levels of operation, including waste, quality, efficiency, and utilization
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine‑related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues and support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Complete appropriate end‑of‑shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
• Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct defects
• Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and effective communication skills – written and verbal are required

• Must be able to constantly stand, walk, use hands, and arms
• Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
• Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/hands
• Constantly required to lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Constantly required to reach away from the body and frequently reach overhead
• Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line
• Able to work in differing temperatures
• Must be able to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
