- Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
- Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
- Provide innovative solutions for production issues
- Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
- Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
- Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
- Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
- Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year manufacturing or industrial experience working with production equipment and proven mechanical ability.

- Must be able to constantly stand, walk, use hands, and arms
- Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
- Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/ hips
- Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Constantly required reaching away from the body and frequently reaching overhead
- Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line
- Able to work in differing temperatures
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
