Position Summary
The Healthcare Operations & Project Analyst supports organizational performance by coordinating operational workflows, analyzing key data, and assisting in the planning and execution of projects across clinical and administrative departments. This role strengthens day-to-day operations while driving process improvement, compliance readiness, and strategic initiatives that enhance quality of care, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.
The position serves as a central resource for reporting, project coordination, cross-department communication, and operational problem-solving.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, clinical, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and performance summaries for leadership and regulatory readiness
- Support census tracking, staffing analysis, labor cost monitoring, and quality metrics
- Conduct root-cause analysis on operational issues and recommend corrective actions
Business Operations Coordination
- Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across nursing, HR, admissions, therapy, and administrative teams
- Maintain operational records, logs, and compliance documentation (e.g., audits, training, licensure tracking)
- Assist with onboarding coordination, training schedules, and communication of policy updates
- Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative departments to ensure timely information flow
Project Coordination
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of operational and clinical improvement projects
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; prepare status updates for leadership
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks
- Assist with risk tracking, issue escalation, and change management activities
- Coordinate resources, vendor communication, and procurement needs for project initiatives
Process Improvement & Compliance Support
- Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Assist with survey readiness activities, internal audits, and corrective action plans
- Support implementation of new systems, technology, and operational processes
- Ensure documentation standards, SOPs, and policies remain current and aligned with healthcare regulations
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
- Experience in healthcare operations, project coordination, business analysis, or administrative leadership support
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, clinical workflows, and compliance standards is highly beneficial
