Healthcare Operations & Project Analyst

Position Summary

The Healthcare Operations & Project Analyst supports organizational performance by coordinating operational workflows, analyzing key data, and assisting in the planning and execution of projects across clinical and administrative departments. This role strengthens day-to-day operations while driving process improvement, compliance readiness, and strategic initiatives that enhance quality of care, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.

The position serves as a central resource for reporting, project coordination, cross-department communication, and operational problem-solving.

Operational Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, clinical, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and performance summaries for leadership and regulatory readiness
• Support census tracking, staffing analysis, labor cost monitoring, and quality metrics
• Conduct root-cause analysis on operational issues and recommend corrective actions

Business Operations Coordination

• Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across nursing, HR, admissions, therapy, and administrative teams
• Maintain operational records, logs, and compliance documentation (e.g., audits, training, licensure tracking)
• Assist with onboarding coordination, training schedules, and communication of policy updates
• Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative departments to ensure timely information flow

Project Coordination

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of operational and clinical improvement projects
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; prepare status updates for leadership
• Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks
• Assist with risk tracking, issue escalation, and change management activities
• Coordinate resources, vendor communication, and procurement needs for project initiatives

Process Improvement & Compliance Support

• Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Assist with survey readiness activities, internal audits, and corrective action plans
• Support implementation of new systems, technology, and operational processes
• Ensure documentation standards, SOPs, and policies remain current and aligned with healthcare regulations

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
• Experience in healthcare operations, project coordination, business analysis, or administrative leadership support
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, clinical workflows, and compliance standards is highly beneficial
