• Study drawings, specifications, and project documents to define scope and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to validate quantities and assumptions.
• Conduct market research to monitor price trends and identify cost‑effective supplier alternatives.
• Solicit and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers; perform bid leveling.
• Assist with project budgets and financial forecasts to inform planning and execution.
• Organize and maintain estimate files, takeoffs, and backup documentation.
• Contribute to meetings with clear commentary on costs, value options, and budget impacts.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance estimating precision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred, not required.
• Demonstrated experience as an estimator within the industrial mechanical sector.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency with estimating platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self‑directed and team‑oriented with excellent organization.
• Capable of managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
