As a Project Manager at SCB Construction Group, you will lead all phases of commercial construction projects, from assisting with design development and preconstruction planning through close-out. You'll oversee budgets, timelines, safety, and subcontractors while serving as the primary client liaison. Your leadership will ensure projects are executed efficiently, meet quality standards, and maintain client satisfaction.
You will focus on coordinating internal and external teams, managing risk, and upholding SCB's commitment to transparency and accountability. Acting as a collaborative problem-solver and trusted partner, you'll deliver seamless project execution that reflects SCB's values and reputation for reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrates a strong desire to complete all tasks with a consistent sense of urgency.
- Proficient in project management software (Sage, Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend, etc.).
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to travel to job sites and work extended hours as needed.
