Senior Accountant

Come join our team! Clairon Metals has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. We are looking for someone to assist and support the Accounting/Finance team with accurate and timely financial reporting, general financial oversight and analysis. This is a salaried exempt position. The pay range is $65,000-$80,000.

• Must have at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• BBA, major in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Must be fluent in English; effective attention to detail and accuracy; in-depth knowledge of Excel & ERP systems. Able to work on multiple projects independently & simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.

• Prepares and records month-end journal entries for corporate general ledger.
• Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, group insurance, and customer pricing worksheets.
• Prepares sales & use, payroll, and property tax returns as needed.
• Pays group insurance bills, employee garnishments, child support, credit cards, and other special pays.
• Performs audits of: payroll processing, raw materials A/P processing, and costing for bill of materials.
• Processes special billing/invoicing and applies most A/R cash receipts.
• Ad hoc & regular summary reporting, with some minor cost accounting duties.
• Reconciles/records fixed asset additions/deletions annually.
