CSuite Financial Partners/Ravix Group LLC has been retained by a rapidly expanding, LA-based commercial contracting services company to find a dynamic Accounts Receivable Manager.
This $75M+ revenue, Private Equity‑backed organization operates 14+ business units across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and the Bay Area, and is in aggressive growth mode after 30+ years of success built on a reputation for quality, leadership, and a winning culture.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the AR function across headquarters and multiple branch locations.
- Oversee timely and accurate billing, invoicing, and cash application.
- Personally manage collection efforts on high‑balance or delinquent accounts.
- Develop, implement, and monitor AR policies, procedures, and credit controls.
- Partner with branch managers, project managers, and service coordinators to resolve billing or customer disputes.
- Maintain and monitor AR aging reports; establish collection targets and KPIs.
- Regularly communicate AR performance and risk exposure to senior leadership.
- Support month‑end close and work with the Controller/CFO on AR‑related reporting.
- Lead process improvements, including automation and efficiency initiatives, for billing and collections.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Prior, proven success with the evaluation, development, and implementation of customer invoicing and collections processes and procedure improvements (must have).
- 10+ years of progressive AR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with in high‑growth, M&A environments and supporting post‑acquisition integration (required).
- Experience consolidating centralized processes within a shared services environment, with multiple business segments (highly preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with collections, dispute resolution, and customer negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
- Experience in construction, service trades, or related industries (highly preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Excel; experience with service‑industry billing systems a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across branches and coordinate with multiple business units.
- Base pay $105,000 – $130,000 per year.
- Annual bonus.
