Early Intervention Behavior Technician

Department: ABA – Behavioral Support.
Location: Rosemead, CA.
Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician, supporting children and teens with autism and other developmental disabilities through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your day will involve one‑on‑one work in clients’ homes, schools, or our clinics, helping them develop new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and build independence.

Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 with clients to implement personalized therapy plans.
  • Use play, routines, and activities to facilitate skill growth.
  • Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors.
  • Encourage independence and everyday life skills.
  • Celebrate wins and encourage clients’ confidence.
Schedule

Part‑time, 15‑25+ hours per week. Block Schedule Options:

  • Block 1:
    Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Block 2:
    Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
  • Block 3:
    Monday–Friday 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Block 4:
    Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months experience working with developmental disabilities (paid or unpaid).
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within 20 miles or 30 minutes.
  • Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • ABA experience or RBT certification.
  • CPR certification for pediatrics and adults.
  • Experience managing diverse maladaptive behaviors.
