We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable individual to work as a van driver based from our Coventry site who is responsible, punctual and able to multitask while working in a team‑oriented environment. Candidates must have a clean driving record and an up‑to‑date driver’s licence.

Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (18:00 - 02:30)

Contract: Full Time and Permanent

Salary: £12.60 per hour + £2090 shift allowance per annum

• Drive safely and courteously; act as an ambassador to our brand and values.
• Maintain temperature control of the vehicle’s fridge at all times.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with clients and ALS site staff.
• Show flexibility on collection runs to accommodate additional requests and traffic delays.
• Accurately complete paperwork, record van temperatures and sample consignments.
• Perform daily checks, basic maintenance (fluid top‑up, cleaning).
• Inform the Transport Manager of any client issues or pertinent information.

• Good adherence to road rules and excellent driver behaviour.
• Previous experience driving medium wheel‑base vans.
• Knowledge of UK road networks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible and reliable.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, enthusiastic & friendly disposition.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Initiative in acting on given information.
• Provide own navigation; ALS can provide if needed.
