This is a self employed on-site role for a Floor Fitter located in Coventry. The Floor Fitter will be responsible for preparing subfloors ready for fitting, installing a variety of flooring materials such as carpets ,carpet tiles, vinyl, LVT and entrance matting ensuring precision installation for customer satisfaction. Additional duties include maintaining tools, following safety procedures, and providing excellent customer service during projects.
Qualifications- NVQ Level 2 Blue Skills card in floor covering occupations (minimum 1 discipline in Resilient Floor coverings)
- Experience in flooring installation, including carpets ,carpet tiles, vinyl, LVT and entrance matting
- A full knowledge of floor preparation techniques
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy materials
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to client interaction
- Relevant experience or certifications in flooring, construction, or related fields
