Vehicle Technician – Coventry

Hours:

42.5 per week, day shifts only. Overtime: paid at time and a half when required.

The Role OTE: £42,660 per year (Basic £36,720 + £2,900 bonus + overtime)

We are one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, operating across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Our workshops maintain and repair a large fleet of light commercial vehicles, including approximately 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars in the UK alone — offering a wide variety of work and ongoing technical challenges.

Our Coventry site is home to a team of 14 colleagues, including 5 skilled technicians, supported by experienced Workshop and Branch Managers. With a steady flow of work from both local and national key accounts, you’ll enjoy consistency, stability, and a strong team environment.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and legally compliant for customer use.

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• A Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technician with at least 5 years’ experience as a technician or mechanic
• OR a fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician / mechanic
• Confident in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicle types

We offer access to an internal, IMI‑accredited training department, where you can upskill in areas such as:

• Hybrid and electric vehicle repair
• Tail lift systems
• Braking systems
• Electrical diagnostics

Level 2 technicians can complete a training needs analysis, allowing us to build a personalised development plan to help you progress your skills and career.
