The RoleALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Analyst Grade 3 to support their Organics department at ALS Coventry. The person will be completing, to the required timescales and quality standards, the analysis of samples for a range of methods using a range of GC, GCMS and LC methods. They will work closely with the senior analysts to ensure smooth operation in the laboratory by assisting team members and training to required standards.

Hours Per Week: 37
Days Per Week: Sunday to Thursday (08:00 - 16:00)
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Salary: £25,242 per annum

The Day to Day- Understand customer requirements.
- Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures, and legislation.
- Deliver on key performance indicators.
- Report analytical data.
- Troubleshoot and rectify equipment issues, including daily preventative maintenance.
- Investigate and report on NCW on the QMS and assign priority.
- Assist team members to achieve work objectives.
- Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Qualifications required are 5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade
4) or above to include Science, Maths and English. - A level or equivalent in scientific subject, or relevant industry knowledge.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn.

- Ability to plan and organise own work area.
