Overview

Aftersales Product Specialist role at Geely Auto UK. We are growing at Geely Auto UK. We are looking for an Aftersales Product Specialist to join our Aftersales Team. Reporting into the Parts Manager, the Aftersales Product Specialist will manage the development and reporting of Accessories and locally sourced Spare Parts along with Spare Parts reporting and pricing. Ensuring a profitable and timely delivery of accessories and locally sourced Spare Parts while managing contracts, inventory, suppliers, POs and promotions to Dealers.

This role will be primarily based in Coventry with a hybrid working policy, but travel to our Head Office in Milton Keynes will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Accessories
    :
    Development, planning and delivery of a profitable accessory range (including Merchandise) by vehicle during product life cycle.
  • Promotion of accessories and spare parts with the management of pricing and competitor price points.
  • Adherence to meet UK/EU regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting of accessories by Dealer and vehicle sales channel.
  • Become the expert on accessories by implementing minimum standards with Sales and Dealer partners.
  • Raising relevant data sets on IT systems.
  • Locally Sourced Spare Parts
    :
    Pro‑cure and develop locally sourced spare parts at competitive prices from identified range gaps.
  • Manage the supplier base from cost, tendering, contract, negotiation and PO.
  • Market and promote locally sourced Spare Parts in relevant channels.
  • Pricing and Stock Management
    :
    Manage Dealer pricing from RRP to Net Invoice value.
  • Track and manage gross margins and costs to meet business KPIs.
  • Communicate and implement price changes to the Dealer network.
  • Support DMS providers with pricing updates and associated data.
  • Optimise stock holding to ensure customer satisfaction while controlling costs.
  • Contracts
    :
    Liaise with legal and suppliers on Spare Parts contracts and terms.
  • Other Duties
    :
    Support other Spare Parts team members over holiday periods; support Dealers with Spare Parts Enquiries; support logistics operations; prioritise business objectives.
Key Working Relationships

Direct Report to: Parts Manager

Internal Stakeholders: Sales, Dealer Network Development, Marketing, and functional departments, Geely HQ

External Stakeholders: Dealers, Suppliers & Customers

Decision Making Scope: Ability to make sound financial plans and deliver on the plan within the given time scale with the support of the Parts Manager and Aftersales Director.

Education

Education, Training and Experience
:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Automotive technology, Engineering, Customer Service or a related field.

Work Experience

Or comparable qualifications or experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive as a product manager/category manager or a product management role, preferably within an OEM, Distributor, Dealer group or car brand company.
