We’re looking for a capable, proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team. You’ll bring creativity, initiative, and a genuine passion for marketing to help us raise awareness, engage our communities, and amplify the vital work we do.
About the roleTo support the Marketing Services Manager with day-to-day tasks and administration in delivery of the organisation’s marketing and communications activity
This role will be based at our Head Office in Allesley.
Key Responsibilities- To create graphic and written content and a variety of digital and traditional communications assets, in support of the organisation’s needs – including ordering, administering and supplying printed material requirements.
- To maintain the organisation’s social media channels, including content generation, scheduling and monitoring analytics.
- To maintain and develop the organisation’s various websites, including content generation, graphic and written content management/website editing, and monitoring analytics.
- Support the Marketing Services Manager in the review and ongoing development of CWW Mind’s website and social media channels –assessing impact, considering effectiveness and identifying ongoing development needs and opportunities.
- To provide responsive and effective marketing and communications-related support to the Outreach Officer and other key roles.
- To provide design/graphic support for the organisation’s fundraising, income generation, business development and new services tendering/bid submissions, as required.
- To attend and contribute towards meetings, briefings and planning activities, as required
- Employed, voluntary or graduate experience of creating, designing, and delivering communications projects.
- Experience of website and social media content creation e.g. graphic designed posts, editing, publishing.
- Social media monitoring and moderation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presenting skills.
- Computer competency in:
Office 365 apps, and web marketing apps e.g. campaign monitor, Canva, Affinity (or equivs). - Experience maintaining Social Media apps:
Instagram, Linked In, Facebook, X, Tik Tok, Hootsuite (scheduling tool) or equivalent. - Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- A qualification in marketing, communications, digital media or similar (e.g. diploma, degree, CIM).
