We are currently recruiting for an experienced GRP Finisher / Polisher to join a busy production environment based in Coventry
. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a long-standing manufacturer producing high-quality GRP components supplied to a range of industries, including automotive, construction, and bathroom products.

This role would suit someone who takes real pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail when it comes to achieving a high-standard finish.

• Preparing GRP components prior to finishing, including cleaning, filling, sanding, and removing surface defects
• Using hand-held and powered tools such as sanders and grinders to achieve smooth, accurate surfaces
• Polishing finished components to a professional, high-gloss standard
• Inspecting parts for defects, scratches, or imperfections and carrying out rework where required
• Completing GRP repairs, including resin application and surface restoration
• Applying gel coats, primers, and surface coatings when needed
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Maintaining tools and equipment and keeping the work area clean and safe
• Working closely with other production staff to support output and workflow
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Proven experience as a GRP Finisher, Polisher, or within composite finishing
• Confident using sanding, grinding, and polishing equipment
• Experience working with gel coats and resins is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and standing for long periods
• Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Relevant vocational training or qualifications in GRP, composites, or finishing would be beneficial but are not essential.
