Sewing Machinist​/Sewing Operative

Barker Ross are recruiting for a Sewing Machinist / Sewing Operative based in the CV6 Coventry area.

Our client is looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual who can offer flexibility and commitment.

This is a temp to perm position! (For the right candidate)

Job Duties:

Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
Sewing a range of materials to required specifications
Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and over locking
Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
Overlock machines
Ensure consistently high-quality workmanship
Achieve production targets and deadlines
Follow health & safety and quality procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role
Have experience with:
Twin needle machines, top sewing, flat sewing and
