Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to join a busy and established manufacturing team based in Coventry. This hands-on role involves setting, operating, and planning production using brake press machinery to produce precision metal components to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC brake press machines to meet production targets.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Plan daily workloads and organise materials efficiently.
Check completed parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
Maintain equipment and ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules.
Support continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing processes.

Experience &

Skills Required:

Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter / Operator within a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong organisational and work planning skills.
Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
