Overview
Our client, an established firm known for delivering exceptional financial support and guidance to their customers, is looking for a qualified Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. This role can be based at either the Coventry or Nuneaton office. Salary circa £55k plus doe plus company benefits and flexible working hours.
Responsibilities- Plan audits and identify key risk areas
- Manage the audit process, including on-site teams
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
- Meet client deadlines and maintain budgets
- Report audit progress to the directors
- Attend final audit review meetings with directors and clients
- Supervise and manage the audit team
- Review the audit team’s work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CA)
- Experience managing and supervising a team
- Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date with the latest auditing and reporting standards
- Ability to work closely with Partners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, confidential, and takes ownership of their role
- Able to manage budgets and meet deadlines
