AboutThe Role
We’re looking for a proactive People Adviser to provide high quality guidance across a wide range of people matters. In this role, you’ll help managers and leaders navigate sensitive and complex cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, sickness, and performance issues, making a real difference to both individuals and the wider organisation.
You’ll join a collaborative, energetic People Team, working closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional service that supports our strategic and operational goals.
As a key member of the Partnering and Advisory Team, you’ll offer expert advice, ensure compliance with policies and processes, champion equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and help foster a supportive, inclusive culture that reflects our University values.

About YouYou’ll bring confidence and professionalism to handling complex queries and cases, supported by strong employment law knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and with impact. You’ll be CIPD qualified (or actively working towards it) and eager to keep growing your expertise.
A natural collaborator, you’ll build trusted relationships with managers, colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation. Your ability to listen, influence and work effectively across teams will help you deliver high quality, consistent support that truly adds value.
