Cleaning Supervisor – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Salary: £14.35 / hour

Hours: 11 hours/day

Shift Pattern: 7pm – 7am

Contract: Permanent

In your new role as Supervisor in a warehouse environment you will:

• Supervise and operate specific equipment, cleaning practices and chemicals in line with operational guidelines.
• Carry out daily and weekly checks of all machinery and report any faults to the Site Manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are understood and adhered to, liaising with the Site Manager for shift operation.
• Monitor waste production using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures.
• Review and maintain equipment cleanliness, securing it when not in use.
• Perform cleaning and ad‑hoc duties, deal with customer complaints, attend training sessions.
• Maintain awareness of statutory fire and safety regulations.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong customer focus and service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and good organisational skills.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety legislation.
• Communicative English (English assessment may be required).
• Basic Disclosure (DBS) and drug & alcohol screening.
