We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in designated areas. The successful candidate will ensure that all spaces are cleaned to a high standard and that the environment is welcoming for staff, visitors, and customers.

• Cleaning, sanitising, and maintaining floors, surfaces, and fixtures
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with procedures
• Following health and safety guidelines and cleaning procedures
• Safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

The position is from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic, committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and a positive attitude
• Ideally experienced in cleaning within a similar environment
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills, and can build positive working relationships with colleagues and the wider school community

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre-employment clearances, and the receipt of two satisfactory references.
