About The Role: Spend 60% of your time hands‑on with vehicles and 40% administering warranty claims. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, conduct complex diagnostics (including EV‑related work), and carry out manufacturer‑based services to the highest standards while maintaining accurate records and efficient workshop scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Conduct complex diagnostics, including EV‑related work.
- Carry out manufacturer‑based services with high‑quality workmanship.
- Process and administer warranty claims accurately.
- Maintain records for audits and warranty claims reconciliation.
- Schedule warranty work efficiently within the workshop.
- Support colleagues with diagnostics and repair methods.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining high productivity.
The Ideal Technician:
- NVQ / IMI Level 3 Qualified in Vehicle Maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to read and analyse complex data.
- Knowledge of multi‑brand cars and vans.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- EV diagnostic and repair authorisation is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
