EUC Specialist

Description

Our client is looking for a contractor EUC Specialist for 3‑6 months, working in a hybrid role attending their Coventry office 2/3 days per week, Inside IR35.

Core technical skills required include EUC Engineering with Azure AD, MDM, M365, Power Shell & Stakeholder management skills.

• ITIL Foundation (minimum)
• Knowledge of Agile (SCRUM) project management methodologies / ITIL framework
• Experience of configuring, implementing, developing and supporting complex solutions. Evidence of vendor/stakeholder management qualities.
• Experience of supporting mission critical systems, with a good knowledge of system technologies, monitoring tools, processes and incident handling in a 24x7x365 support environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications. Communicates with internal teams at all organisational levels and third‑party providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with colleagues, partners/vendors & project sponsors.
• Strong operational background with experience in analytical thinking, problem solving, decision‑making and technical management of faults and changes.
• Ability to analyse business processes and identify solutions.
• Technical curiosity, ensuring continuous skills refresh, with cutting‑edge and new‑to‑market technologies explored, understood and assessed.

Deep technical knowledge of the following technologies to “Expert” level:

• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager suite (config mgr, CMG, Intune, autopilot). Azure AD and Cloud Management Gateway integration.
• DEP, MAM & MDM solutions.
• Intune Autopilot build, image management, including task sequences, driver integration, application testing and troubleshooting.
• Hardware and device knowledge, supporting selection, management and maintenance of desktops, laptops and mobiles.
• Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint management, integration, maintenance and refresh.
• Active Directory, GPO and AD sites and services integration with config manager boundaries.
• Power Shell, VBScript and scripting.
• Packaging skills – AppV knowledge, MSI, AppX.
• Windows as a service and patch management – semi‑annual channel.
• Extensive Windows 11 support knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• User environment management, including roaming profiles, One Drive and new ways of working.
• Data analysis using tools including Excel & SQL queries.
• Microsoft 365 for enterprises.
• Product suite, including SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Exchange, Stream, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Microsoft Power Shell CLI.
• Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory.
• Security & Compliance admin centres in O365.
