Are you passionate about digital transformation in manufacturing? Want to help UK SMEs adopt cutting‑edge Industry 4.0 technologies? WMG is looking for two Digital Transformation Engineers to join our growing team!

• Work directly with SME manufacturers to understand their challenges and recommend innovative digital solutions.
• Build proofs‑of‑concept and demonstrators using the latest digital tools.
• Explore technologies such as AI in manufacturing, automation & robotics, IT/OT architectures, and digital manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP, MES, PLM).
• Lead digital transformation workshops, produce technical roadmaps, and contribute to grant applications.
• Collaborate with tech providers and University experts.

You’ll receive training, mentoring, leadership development opportunities, and the chance to get involved in academic research.

Flexible working options (including part‑time and job share) will be considered.
