The Business

With just short of 1000 employees internationally and growing, this distribution organisation is a market leader in what they do.

They grow by organic growth and small acquisitions and currently have a UK headcount of c100 employees.

They are known for their impressive employee retention (this role has come about as the result of an internal promotion!) and unparalleled culture.

This role will be based 3 days a week (2 from home) in their UK central hub in Coventry and with the chance of international travel!

• Partnering with the senior leadership team, bringing HR focusses to life and ensuring the people strategy is in line with business growth objectives.
• Using HR metrics to influence decision-making, challenge thinking and drive best practice across the UK while partnering with colleagues internationally
• Leading change and continuous improvement across people processes, systems, payroll and ways of working
• Playing a key role in leadership capability and learning
  , ensuring development activity aligns with strategic priorities.

• Pending acquisitions - potential TUPE or M&A activity
• Direct line management responsibility to the HR Manager and a dotted like to an additional two heads
• International business expansion - partnering with HR teams across EMEA

• Solid generalist HR experience - ideally in a similar industry - logistics distribution and supply chain
• It would be beneficial if you have some from a stand-alone experience or come from a small business HR team where no job is too small, and you have a tailored but friendly approach
• International HR experience or exposure would be advantageous
