Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Payroll Supervisor to join our team in Coventry, focused on ensuring efficiency of all pay runs and payroll benefit administration, alongside the supervision of your team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a track record of dealing with high volumes and continuous improvement within the Payroll sector.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Lead payroll teams, provide guidance and knowledge of payroll legislation, managing performance.
  • Extensive payroll management experience, with multiple pay runs and reconciliation of employee benefits (PMI, P11D, Expense In, company car/mileage, childcare vouchers, salary sacrifice, pension schemes).
  • Attention to detail – checking for errors, ensuring accurate payroll reporting and year‑end audits, maintaining GDPR compliance.
  • Manage payroll enquiries in a large‑scale business, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with iTrent or similar payroll programs.
  • CIPP qualifications beneficial.
