People Services HR Admin – Helpdesk
, you’ll be the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses while supporting key HR processes across the business.

We have two roles available on the team and this is a full‑time, hybrid role working at least two days in the office per week, both on a 12‑month secondment basis to support the team.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and customer‑focused mindset will be key. You’ll help ensure that our HR services run smoothly, our systems are accurate, and our colleagues receive the support they need to thrive.

    – Provide first‑time query resolution via phone, email, and face‑to‑face interactions, ensuring a positive experience for all users.
  • HR Coordination
    – Act as the central point for HR queries, supporting areas such as contracts, pensions, healthcare, recruitment, and policy advice.
  • Process Management
    – Administer HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records in line with policy and compliance requirements.
  • Absence & Performance Support
    – Assist with absence management processes and probationary reviews, ensuring timely updates and communication.
  • Reward & ER Support
    – Support transactional reward activities and provide Tier 1 guidance on Employee Relations policies and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement
    – Suggest innovations to improve HR processes and embrace our culture of collaboration and service excellence.
What you'll bring
  • Qualifications
    – Working towards CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience
    – Proven experience in administration or a similar role, with strong customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills
    – Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; good data entry and typing skills.
  • Knowledge
    – Understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Communication
    – Confident verbal and written skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Organisation
    – Ability to prioritise effectively and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability
    – A flexible approach to change and a positive attitude towards new challenges.
