Overview
Perform phlebotomy and other duties within the laboratory supporting other staff while delivering optimum patient care. Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services offers phlebotomy services across six main sites:
University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), City of Coventry Health Centre, Hospital of St Cross in Rugby, George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, South Warwickshire Foundation Trust in Warwick, with out‑patient and in‑patient services. Community, GP and domiciliary clinics are also supported covering Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Birmingham.
The recruitment day will be held on 11 February 2026. The position is not eligible for sponsorship. Successful applicants will need to provide an immunisation and vaccination report from their current UK occupational health provider or GP.
LocationsPhlebotomists will work at Hospital of St Cross in Rugby and UHCW. The service will expand across 7 days of the week with both in‑patient and out‑patient coverage.
Working patternsApplicants will be expected to work shift patterns to support the service – early, late, weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Requirements- Full clean UK driving licence (required as you may need to work at other sites).
- Full and part‑time availability with full flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Immunisation and vaccination report.
