We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team within our Supported Living services in Coventry.

Full-time - 42 hours per week
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex and profound needs, to live rich, meaningful, and self-directed lives. This is a hands-on, person-centred role, focused on:
- Delivering creative, therapeutic, and engaging support
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
- Supporting active community integration and social inclusion
You will work closely with individuals to understand what matters to them, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes identified in their personalised support plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, and control
- Support individuals to engage in meaningful activities, hobbies, and interests that enhance wellbeing and quality of life
- Facilitate access to community facilities, groups, and mainstream activities
- Deliver practical and emotional support, building strong and trusting relationships
- Support daily living tasks including medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and record keeping
- Use positive approaches to manage complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Empower individuals to develop life skills and achieve personal goals
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs, and/or challenging behaviours
- A compassionate, patient, and positive approach to care
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for making a difference
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and respectful manner
- IT literacy and ability to complete care documentation accurately
- You will be flexible, organised, and able to multitask, with a strong “can-do” attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality, values-led care.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
