Main duties of the jobAutonomous patient care: Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients across a wide range of clinical presentations.
Prescribing and medication management: Independently prescribe and review medications within your scope of practice.
Clinical leadership: Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff and contribute to service development.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Audit, research, and quality improvement: Participate in audits, service evaluation, and projects to enhance patient outcomes.
Education and development: Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development of the team

We are seeking an experienced and motivated ANP to join our team under the ARRS scheme, providing advanced care and helping to support and expand our primary care services.
Job responsibilitiesMain duties include, Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis,management and follow-up of patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions
Prescribing or managing medication for patients Independent Prescriber status required
Working autonomously within agreed clinical governanceframeworks, with access to clinical supervision as needed
Supporting the wider practice team: liaising with GPs,nurses, other clinical staff, admin ensuring continuity of care
Maintaining accurate patient records in line with NHS / CQCstandards
Participating in quality improvement, audit, referraldecisions, and clinical governance
Person Specification Qualifications- Registered Nurse on the NMC register
- Masters level education (MSc or Postgraduate Diploma) in Advanced Clinical Practice / Advanced Nursing Practice or working towards it under supervision.
- Advanced clinical skills training (e.g., history taking, physical assessment, clinical decision-making).
- Independent prescribing qualification (V300) is often essential or highly desirable, depending on the role.
- Relevant specialist modules for your clinical area (e.g., urgent care, primary care, acute medicine).
- Training in leadership, research, or service improvement.
- Participation in CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses aligned with advanced practice competencies.
