Female Support Worker - Crymych, Pembrokeshire

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join Mencap’s team in Crymych, providing support for people with learning disabilities.

• Assist with daily activities and personal care.
• Provide emotional and social support to individuals.
• Work within a diverse group, building meaningful relationships.
• Maintain a flexible shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to 24‑hour care schedules and prepare rosters at least four weeks in advance.
• Take up sleep‑in duties when available, earning an enhanced flat rate of £63.70.

• Passion for supporting others and a genuine desire to improve lives.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build caring relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• Full UK driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Pass an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references.

Contract options:

• Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week
• Part‑time: 16–30 hours per week

£12.60 per hour plus a range of employee benefits, including pension, holiday buying and training opportunities.

24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro‑rata for part‑time).
