Elwood Recruitment is recruiting Qualified Children & Young Adults Support Workers in Coventry.
Who are we looking for?- Do you have a Level 3 CYP or QCF qualification?
- Do you live in Coventry or the surrounding areas?
- Do you have a passion for taking care and supporting vulnerable children?
- Do you have a minimum of six months experience within the care sector?

You will provide support to children and young people aged 5‑18 who have moderate to severe learning disabilities, behavioural challenges, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, promoting daily living skills, assisting with self‑regulation and developing independent living skills in line with a support plan designed around each individual.
As part of the care and support team you will help maintain a safe, enabling environment that provides positive experiences to children living within the service.
Successful applicants will be- Supporting, mentoring and educating children with day‑to‑day activities to develop their emotional and social needs
- Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living
- Positive engagement to encourage children and young people in their development
- Reporting and recording key aspects of care and developing your professional skills as part of an ongoing development plan
- Managing complex behaviours that may challenge
- Supporting and engaging with a range of activities
