Role Overview

We are offering a purpose driven role as Finance Manager to join our growing team. This role combines strategic financial management responsibilities as well as hands on requirements. The successful candidate will manage day to day financial operations while also contributing to higher-level financial planning, compliance, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across all company accounts
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
  • Contribute to preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports, in collaboration with external accountants
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
  • Process payroll alongside the HR team, and the external payroll company
  • Manage expense claims and petty cash processes
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and quarterly reviews
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Support VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements
  • Assist with financial aspects of training program costing and pricing
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Assist with financial due diligence for new business opportunities
  • Contribute to process improvements and system implementations
  • Provide financial training and support to other departments as needed
