Accounting Manager

This role is responsible for our retail network Stellantis &You. It is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days per week based in our head office, Coventry.

Working with these retailers the main responsibilities will include:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Balance sheet reconciliation and account justification
• Revenue recognition, provisions, accruals, fixed assets and inventory accounting
• Analysing stock, margins, WIP and ageing reports
• Implementing Stellantis accounting policies
• Risk identification and mitigation
• Internal and external audit coordination
• Processing standardisation and improvements
• Participation in system upgrades, digitalisation and transforming projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Solid understanding of tax obligations and compliance
• Understanding of dealership financial flows and operations
• Experience with DMS/Autoline or similar Dealer Management Systems
• Advanced MS Office skills, mainly Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with SAP
• Clear communication skills with all stakeholders
• Assertive and takes ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to explain complex accounting topics
• Strong analytical mindset
• Ability to detect anomalies, investigate variances and propose solutions
• Ability to work cross‑functionally
• Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
