Vacancy

MTC Training has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager. MTC Training is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). Operating from high‑quality training centres in Coventry, Oxford and Liverpool, we aspire to open a new centre in the Northeast of England and, eventually, other regions.

Our mission is to develop training capabilities that embed knowledge, skills and behaviours that future‑proof UK manufacturing. We align technical content identified in MTC's core business with our apprenticeship and commercial (engineer upskilling) portfolio. We operate an end‑to‑end business built around three key components:

  • Training Services – identify future skills and develop training content required to deliver the manufacturing technologies of now and the future.
  • Training & Skills – deliver high‑quality apprenticeships and upskilling and reskilling courses.
  • Events – deliver events on behalf of UK manufacturing ranging from national conferences with international reach to small high‑profile meetings and everything in between.

Our customers range from global multi‑nationals to local SMEs committed to high quality and market leadership. We deliver high‑quality skills recognised by Ofsted ‘Good’ with outstanding features, multiple award‑winning apprentices, medals at World Skills competitions and sponsorship by Lloyds Banking Group of £1m, to name but a few.
