A Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancy based in the Midlands are seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist to join their team on a variety of ground investigation projects. This position requires relevant degree level education and experience within ground investigation, as well as an excellent attitude towards work and enthusiasm to learn. You’ll be provided with dedicated support and specialist training from a consultancy with nearly 30 years in the industry.

This Engineering Geologist position requires an individual to apply their university knowledge to a variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects. You’ll be carrying out ground investigations and desktop studies, writing factual and interpretive reports, soil logging, preparing soil samples, inputting field data and working on drilling rigs, all with excellent training support from senior members of the team.

The Engineering Geologist considered will have:

• A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Geoscience or another relevant subject (Master’s preferable).
• Ideally, experience in the industry.
• A full and clean UK driving licence.
• An ability to work within a team and independently.
• A full right to work in the UK.
• Be commutable to the Coventry area.
• Full right to work in the UK.
