Engineering Apprentice

As an Engineering Apprentice, you’ll begin an exciting journey to develop the technical skills, problem-solving mindset, and hands‑on experience needed for a successful career in engineering. In your first year, you’ll train with a specialist provider to gain essential manufacturing skills before joining our Burton Brewery site.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.

This programme is designed to prepare future engineering technicians to tackle real-world challenges, maintaining complex machinery while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll rotate through departments, receive hands‑on training, and be supported by a dedicated mentor. Alongside practical experience, you’ll study toward nationally recognised qualifications, including a BTEC Level 3 and potentially an HNC Level 4 in Engineering – building a strong foundation for a confident, capable, and safety‑conscious career in the industry.
