Early Years Teaching Assistant -Maternity Cover

The role is about supporting learning in Nursery. • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience of working within an Early Years setting

• Support the Nursery Teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences
• Work with individuals and small groups of children to promote progress
• Provide high-quality interactions to support language, communication and social development
• Assist in planning and preparing stimulating indoor and outdoor learning activities
• Observe, assess and record children’s development in line with school procedures
• Promote positive behaviour and model high expectations

• Help maintain a safe, organised and welcoming learning environment
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor provision
