Job Title: 1:1 Tutor - Coventry Area
Location: Coventry, West Midlands (school and home settings)
Contract Type: Part-time / Full-time / Flexible Hours
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 academic support to students across the Coventry area. This role involves delivering personalised learning programmes that help children and young people achieve their full potential - whether they are catching up on missed learning, preparing for exams, or requiring additional support outside the classroom.
Sessions may take place in schools, in students' homes, or in other agreed community settings.
Responsibilities- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition in English and Maths, subjects aligned with your specialism.
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons based on each learner's individual needs and goals.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and maintain accurate progress reports.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
- Liaise with parents, schools, and education coordinators where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or demonstrable tutoring/teaching experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence in adapting teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, professional, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
