Together in Learning is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our client SEN schools based in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs, working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

Together in Learning are seeking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of our client school based in Coventry.

This is a full-time vacancy with potential for permenancy for the qualifying candidate.
You will be requirred to work closely with pupils aged 5-11, providing tailored support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs including ASD (Autism), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
This role requires someone who can quickly adapt to the school’s environment and hit the ground running, offering one to one support, small group assistance and working with teachers to ensure students are receiving the best care and education.
Requirements:
 
* Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
 
* Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, MLD, and ADHD
 
* Ability to start immediately and commit until July 2026
 
* A proactive and compassionate approach, with the ability to build rapport with students
 
* Must be able to support children with diverse needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
