Primary Teacher - Year 4

Location:

Coventry, CV1

Daily Rate: £155 - £255 (dependent on experience)

Start Date:

ASAP

Contract:

Until the end of the Academic Year 2026

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Hours:

8:00am - 4:00pm

We are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Central Coventry to recruit a committed Year 4 Teacher for a long-term position through to the end of the academic year 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and take responsibility for a small class of approximately 22 pupils, delivering high-quality teaching within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 4 curriculum
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development as they progress through Key Stage 2
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
  • Create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and phase leaders
  • Differentiate planning to meet a range of abilities, including pupils with SEN
  • Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to meetings as required
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4
  • Strong classroom management with a nurturing and consistent approach
  • Confidence in delivering the KS2 curriculum
  • A reflective practitioner committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching
