Level 2/3 teaching assistant - SEND

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Coventry is looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. The school is seeking someone who can bring energy, reliability and a nurturing approach to the classroom. You'll be supporting pupils across the school day, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop positive learning habits.

This is an excellent opportunity for a TA who is passionate about education and confident working with pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.

• A recognised TA qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• Strong classroom experience within a primary setting
• SEND experience or good SEND awareness is highly desirable
• Ability to support pupils 1:1, in small groups and within whole-class settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach

• Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
• Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
• Assisting with phonics, literacy and numeracy activities
• Helping pupils stay focused, motivated and emotionally regulated
• Preparing resources and assisting with classroom organisation
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
