AboutThe Role
Warwick Business School is a research‑led, triple‑accredited university‑based business school with a portfolio of world‑class programmes. We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Analytics to strengthen our faculty and research capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, internationally oriented, and ambitious scholar who values collegiality, intellectual openness, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and who is keen to play an active role in shaping the next phase of growth of the Information Systems Management and Analytics (ISMA) Group.
The appointment is part of our wider strategy to be one of the leading global centres of excellence in Information Systems and Analytics, where intellectual leadership and innovation are at the heart of our mission. The ISMA Group is a vibrant and expanding community of researchers working at the forefront of AI, digital innovation, and business analytics. Our research addresses pressing questions in AI and algorithmic transformation, digital platforms and ecosystems, financial technologies and the future of work and automation.
On the analytics side, our research covers the full data lifecycle—from data creation and storage to AI‑ and ML‑driven prediction, to prescriptive analytics that inform decision‑making and policy. Faculty benefit from a highly supportive research culture, strong doctoral and postdoctoral communities, and excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across WBS and the wider University of Warwick. ISMA is also home to three highly successful postgraduate programmes: MSc Management of Information Systems & Digital Innovation (MISDI), MSc Business Analytics and AI, and the newly launched MSc Financial Technologies.
